How Did You Get Started? I was influenced by two bodybuilders in my local gym in the early 1990's. Robert Evans trained me for my first bodybuilding show in 1994. Dave Rappaport also trained with me from time to time. Both "muscle heads" were older and had previous competing experience. I basically found two of the strongest dudes in the gym and took in all their ideas about training and nutrition. My favorite bodybuilding class in any event is the Master's Division. Knowledge comes from those who have been around and practice what they preach. My gorgeous wife Lori has also been given me tremendous support and has competed in both bodybuilding as well as power lifting. She has unlimited potential and the sky is the limit for her. Past training partners have also contributed to my success and consistency. Here are a few of them:

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You? My diet plans and training are courtesy of professional trainer Mike Davies. mikedaviesfitness.com My diet consists of high protein every 2 hours with a moderate carb intake. Pre and post train meals are vital. I can't give away all of Mike Davies' secrets. What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
Why Do You Love Bodybuilding? Bodybuilding is a sport that never has an off season. You train now to make improvements for an event nine months from now and that takes strict discipline and dedication. The challenge alone motivates me. There is nothing like competition day because every one is gunning for the big trophy and "you" are a major threat to take all the trophies home. What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans? My burning desire is to win the NGA "Natural" over 40 Pro Card in 2012. I also plan on obtaining sponsorship from a major supplement company in the very near future and hopefully grace the cover of a major bodybuilding magazine. Owning a gym or A Max Muscle store in the next ten years is also a dream of mine. What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders? Be consistent and patient. Attention to detail and the combination of many details make an impressive bodybuilder. Consistency, form, nutrition, posing, posing routine, proper rest...it all counts. Set realistic goals and eat your humble pie. Bodybuilding is like a fine piece of art work that takes years to create.
