How Did You Get Started?

I have always been bodybuilding my whole football career just for strength and extra fitness. But on June 30th 2007 I was struck in the head while playing Australian rules football. I then had a stroke from which I was paralyzed down my right side. My face was dead I couldn't see, hear, walk, eat, or drink. I then spent the next 4 months in hospital learning all the skills of life again to walk, eat, see, move, and soon enough train.

I realized football would be on hold for a few years so I started a sport I have loved and I started to compete in bodybuilding. My first competition was only 13 months after my stroke. I placed second.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

I love nitric oxide and whey protein.

Why Do You Love Bodybuilding?

I love bodybuilding because it gives me a goal to focus on, something to strive towards. It gives me a chance to compete on a level playing ground. It's hard work but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love it.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

I hope to train until the end of the year then compete in some of the Victorian competitions. I hope to keep gaining size and go on competing for a number of years. Then when I finish competing I will continue bodybuilding.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

Have patience and persistence in bodybuilding, in illness, and in life. Don't be scared to work hard for your goals. And don't wait until tragedy to get focused and see you're potential. Understand everyday is passing by. Start now. Don't wait until tomorrow.

Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?

Dennis Wolf, Dexter, Ronnie, pretty much all the bodybuilders, my all time hero Arnold.
